International Touch Soccer Academy started the program as "Vienna U9 Academy" in 2009.Today, the program is going to the second year as "Vienna U10 Academy".The program has been very sucessful! Here are the comments from the parents and players about the ITS Program.

- great job keeping the girls engaged, and working on fundamentals
- feedback from one player: 'Coach Kurt keeps it fun... if something is not working well he jumps in and acts crazy and makes it fun again'. I think she was refering to the last activity where Kurt was the 4th player on a group of 3 girls, and he injected energy and life into the activity if it started to get sluggish. REALLY makes a difference - they love this!
- I like the little things you do to recognize good effort (for example, a simple clap for the group that does well). I also appreciate Kurt giving me ideas to build on (for example - when you explained that we can take the neutral team out of the last activity and play 5 vs 5, and add the rule that a player with the ball is safe when she is on the outside perimeter of the field). I think you are also doing great in knowing how to challenge them at the right level..."

"Eddie - I've mentioned previously that Freedom White was VERY happy with Kurt Kuykendall this Spring. I was reminded of this point last week at the final White training session with Kurt. We had a heart-felt moment when the girls said good-bye to Kurt (along with a nice group hug). I don't get that kind of reaction from the girls. :)"

Winter 2011
" I think the format was good. Having two teams together (group of ~20 girls on a good Sunday) with one trainer (and coaches helping out) worked really well. I think that having two back-to-back sessions was good in that it gave some flexibility for girls to come at 2:30 or 3:30 (working around basketball and other activities). The training that Royce Brodie and you provided was very good. I was really pleased with the amount of technical skills work that the girls did. I think the girls responded quite well, good focus, paying attention and trying. I think that this group is well ahead of other VYS travel teams at the U10 age in terms of the quality of training they have had, and the corresponding level of development for the group. This is based on my personal experience with my older children and their experience on VYS team.
