Eduardo Lima ("Eddie Lima") was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Eduardo moved to the United States to attend George Mason University in 1996, and graduated in May 2001 with a BS degree in General Business.

In addition to playing soccer for George Mason University, Eduardo has traveled around the world playing soccer for the University National Team and his Club Teams from Brazil.

In the Spring of 2006, Eduardo Lima was inducted into Men's Soccer "Hall of Fame" by George Mason Univeristy.

Eduardo Lima was selected by directors, coaches and former players at George Mason University an award in his name, which will forever be named after him... "Eduardo Lima Offensive Player of the Year Award".

The award in his name will be given to member of the current squad at offensive position in the end of every year.
