International Touch Soccer Academy (ITSA), formerly "Brazilian Touch Soccer" was established by Alex Teixeira (Staff member of DC United youth academies and coach of ODP - Northern District and State level) and Eddie Lima (coach of Northern District and State ODP level) in 2007 as a full-service soccer training company for youth players and teams in the Northern Virginia region.

Through the wide array of expertise that we offer, with talented coaches and trainers from all over the world, we strive to offer our youth a well rounded International Touch experience. ITS specializes in creative development on the ball and works closely with individuals, groups, teams, and clubs to meet their specific needs at all developmental levels.

Our coaches represent many nationalities which allow for attributions of different styles of the game.  ITS work closely together to promote optimal training for all of our athletes. We strive to provide a well rounded experience for each individual athlete while offering a safe and fun learning experience. The combination of our philosophies and expertise from all over the world allows us to offer a unique experience in the mastery of the beautiful game.  In doing so, our athletes truly experience an "International Touch".
 

Mission Statement

Our mission is to enhance player development in the U.S. by practicing a coaching style that encourages confidence and creativity on the ball at the youth level.  

International Touch Soccer also aims to build character. We focus on teaching life skills such as teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, work ethic, full responsibility, and positive attitude.  We at ITS view soccer not only as a sport, but a way of life.
